September 2017 – Bo

Posted by Website Admin, With 0 Comments, Category: Dog of the month,

Bo came into our care on 24.09.2016 and we think he was born in May 2014 so he is just over 2 years old now. Bo is a stunning boy who was rescued with another Podenco who we called Robin. They were found together in a small village close to Rute. Bo is an amazing colour and has the most wonderful amber eyes. A true Podenco!

Bo was was found with a very deep wound in his shoulder which we believe was the result of someone removing his microchip so the owner could not be traced. Sadly this is something that happens here. It required 5 internal stitches and 5 external stitches to repair it. Now he is very well and the wound has healed. Despite his injury and pain - even when he was rescued he is the most trusting and loving boy you could ever meet.

Sadly Bo has been diagnosed with Leishmaniasis - it is low level and we hope more than anything this won't stop his chances of finding a wonderful home. Dogs with this can lead active normal lives.

Bo is very sad without his friend Robin who has now been adopted so please help us to find him the home he deserves and lets put a smile back on his face.

Please share and make a donation if you can.
